Before we could have the new carpet installed we had to take everything out of our bedroom and seal the concrete with this stuff, Dryloc concrete sealer. Now the water will hopefully not seep up into our room during the next rainstorm. It was definitely a process, but now I feel like our room is sooo clean and free from bugs, mold, and nastiness. We also replaced our rotting bathroom sink. During this process we saw THREE huge centipedes, and only managed to kill one! I hope the other two left!

After: All nice, clean and sealed. I know the laminate doesn't match, but it doesn't really show, and it is much better than exposed concrete.

I am quite impressed!!! It looks great! I saw your extended family at Maria's baptism on Sat- it was really neat! Are you two still going to stay in Hawaii for a while?
