once this lady asked me if after becoming a mom if i didn't like to surf as much and was less motivated. she said most women she talked to said yes, but come on! being a mom makes me want to surf more, makes me enjoy the moments more, makes me want to tech my kids more. that and, it's nice to be away from them for a bit and then watching them run down to the water when i come in makes me feel cooler than kelly slater! ha ha
Meg you are awesome! Is that the Big Island? I am still afraid of backflips. I know what you mean. I always want to wear a helmet when I skate now because I don't want any injuries that would prevent me from being a good momma to Del!I feel like more of a scaredy cat, but o-well. Don't worry Meg, I am not forgetting about how cool Hawaii is, and everyday I miss it more. I am sure we will go back in the future..but I want to go now! haha I miss you!!!!!!!

I love you meggy! I just caught all up on your blog (evidently it had been a while since I'd taken a look). I can not believe how big and ADORABLE indie is. I died over all those pictures and how stinkin cute she is! Lastly... I need one of those quiet books. Will you teach me how you made it or something because I am totally coveting your creativity and talents. You're such a great mom.
