"my do it!"

This is Indie's new favorite phrase. She is definitely testing her independence. If I do not let her do something on her own, then I am in for it.
Tonight a fit of frustration was triggered when I flushed her very own pee-pee down the toilet. I had asked her to flush the toilet three times before I finally got around to flushing it myself. Thinking she had no interest in the matter. Boy was I wrong! Upon my flushing the toilet she immediately screamed hysterically as she watched the water funnel its way down the pipes along with her pee. In all desperation she shoved her arms down the toilet bowl sincerely trying to recover anything she could. Grossed out by her pee covered self, I scooped her up and washed her hands, all the while she kicked and screamed. I set her down only to watch her proceed to stick her arms back into the toilet bowl and frantically grab at the water screaming "nooooooo, my pee-pee!" Not sure of what to do with my insane child, I walked out of the bathroom and sat on the couch. A few minutes later I was happily greeted by a smiling Indie. Apparently she had made a full recovery from this oh so traumatic experience.
She is very dramatic and possibly a little bipolar.

No accident at church! She never even went. She went after we had been home for a little while. I am so glad!

Hahaha! That is a really funny story. They can be so independent. I imagine next time she won't hesitate to flush it herself. cute!

I love that you could just walk away, and that she calmed herself down. I swear sometimes trying to fix it only makes them more upset. Glad you can laugh about the crazy and realize how funny it really is.
