I do not know how I created such a girly girl. If you ask Indie her favorite color, she will most definitely respond "pink!" I used to cringe at the thought of pink, and at 7 years old, cried when my soccer team jerseys were pink. My first day of kindergarten my mom told me that I looked pretty, I responded by saying, "I don't look pretty, I look like a cool dude."
Indie loves her "girl shirt" because it has ruffles on it, and if given the option will always choose to wear a dress or skirt. I NEVER wore a dress/skirt to school k-12. Not even once.
I am embracing her girlyness. I even bought her a very pink, and very ruffle-y tutu for Christmas. She insisted on wearing it to Foodland. I let her, and loved watching her prance around Foodland, feeling oh-so beautiful.
She loves to wear her princess dress, put on makeup (sometimes all by herself, when Grandma is watching her), paint her nails, and DANCE.
If you ask her what she wants to be when she grows up she will respond by saying, "Cinderella, and I will drive a pink car." When I was little I wanted to be a professional soccer player, and drive a Lamborghini.

she needs to come play make up with ivy this week!
Is that mascara all over her eyes? Indie, you look so pretty!
That is so cute!
I hated pink too. I threw a fit because my mom put pink sheets on my bed. Oh the horror! I am getting better though. I love all of Capri's cute pink stuff, so hopefully she doesn't hate it too.
i can attest that all this is true. I never saw meg in a skirt unless it was sunday...and I witnessed indie on mascara day (picture one) and when I told her she looked pretty she was glowing with pride. I love love love it.
hahahahahahaha!!! Ya, i could see Corbin in a salmon colored button up. ;-)
It's been a learning experience to get to know these little personalities- sometimes a little too much like me, and sometimes a little too diferent from me. It's all pretty adorable. Indie looks great in a pink princess dress.
LOVE that she is girly! It is going to be fun raising these girls, definitely a learning experience!
Raegan just asked me if that was a real princess. And when she saw the mascara pic she said "Ooooo thats cute!"
Indie is definaltely a real princess!
